Staff Training
In the Philippines, great value is set on the number
and range of Seminars attended. However, staff motivational
trainings, in junior management level and rank and file
is often largely overlooked with the inevitable negative
results.
Scobell staff training services are focused on customer
service and sales skills. It is too often the younger
rank and file staff that unwittingly give offense or irritate.
Poor telephone skills, bad counter service, lack of basic
courtesies in the heat of a busy day.
Poor English is readily excusable but good
English badly used is bad for business!
Customer services standards in the Philippines are often
surprisingly weak. Poor telephone and over-the-counter
service skills often reflect low self-esteem or lack of
pride in the work.. Whatever the reason, lack of product
knowledge and inability to “sell”, reflect directly on
the employer. It is the employer who bears the consequences.
If a staff member does not know his company, know his
product and respect his client, service standards will
fall way short of its potential.
When a company’s staff feel bad about their work, their
superiors, their colleagues or their clients, their morale
will suffer but it is the employer who will shoulder the
cost.
